Another Chance…
Tonight we have another chance to get a snow day here in the North East (not the Mid Atlantic). It’s supposed to snow all Tuesday night into Wednesday. The last time they called for snow like this (again where I am, not you central Jersey regulars) we got nothing, so this might be a waste of hope.
The Prius is a stupid looking car, but the worst car on the road are those god awful “Smart Cars”. There is nothing smart about driving those death traps on the roads in and around NYC. One wrong move and it’s all over. Though I can’t imagine those stupid little things go faster than 40 MPH, so if you ram into an immobile object than maybe you have chance . If you have a family member who drives one, or a friend, or an enemy, or even a frenemy please stop them. They are ruining their lives and the lives of those around them.

Well, driving in NYC is no picnic in ANYTHING, but the Smart at least has the great advantage of manueverability. Also, it is quite as safe in any given accident as any other car — designed specifically to maintain a safe “cage” around the passengers (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJHpUO-S0i8). The Smarts ARE pretty ugly, but then so were the old VWs, which were orders of magnitude less safe, and we came to think them ‘cute.’ So save your hatin’ for a car that deserves it (if any do). The Smart is a city car, well suited to that environment, and better FOR it.
Now the Scion Xb, on the other hand…

the honda crossover is super ugly, im really not diggin’ the sports/station wagon hybrids…except the c30.

Those are indeed some ugly cars. But man.. those 4 door Wranglers… now that’s a HOT ride!
