The Happy Hour
We made this Lost Boys rep poster and I put it on the old site in honor of the beginning of summer. For some reason LB reminds me of summer and it’s one of my favorite movies to watch right around Memorial Day. Clearly it has nothing to do with Memorial Day and I should probably watch something like Saving Private Ryan or Patton, but I know what I like and it’s The Lost Boys.
Originally this strip was going to mention something about teen angst and today’s Vampires , but we ultimately decided that a joke like that was too easy, and who doesn’t like references to strippers?

I laughed out loud to this strip. I HATE when that happens. I sound like such an idiot to my surrounding cubical buddies … thanks.

I’m personally a big fan that Dave is playing the Kiefer character who is also named “David” makes me laugh… had Phil and I really fleshed out this week, and didn’t want to get some Christmas strips in, I would have enjoyed a strip where Dave and Phil fight over who get’s to be the Kiefer Vampire… and Dave’s logic being he’s also named David would prevail.
I’d also like as a consolation if Phil were suggested to be the Alex Winter Vampire… which we all know he would scoff at. No one wants to be Alex Winter Vampire.
