918 Turkey Day 7
Throwing food…
I’ve throw a lot of food out and off of various places, but I don’t think I’ve ever throw a turkey off of a roof. Jars of things, eggs… and eggs. Well I guess I haven’t throw that much food after all. I like food too much to do that to it. Plus I enjoy cooking, so unless it’s gone bad there is a good chance I will turn it into something edible.
Sorry for you midnighters, but I had a late night, so the blog was late and short. I will do my best to get a good one up tomorrow before I travel to Florida. In fact I am positive I will get a good one for tomorrow.

We had a great food fight in grade school that ended in an exploding snack pack on the lunch lady.

I heard about this place in the city that is infusing Turkeys with flavored Vodka. I thought that was interesting. Had I heard about this earlier, this week might have taken a different turn. Here is the story for you readers:
“Earlier today Paul Hurley at O’Casey’s Tavern on East 41st Street began injecting an unspecified number of 20-pound birds with 8 ounces of 100 proof flavored Georgi vodka: peach, raspberry, cherry and apple. Most of the vodka will evaporate out of the turkeys during cooking, but O’Casey’s chef has planned for that, and he’s preparing a vodka-infused gravy, served with a straw.”
Can I have another round of gravy? Thanks
